I was going to add plastic to the existing shoulders to give them the correct Slash shoulder shape, but decided instead to make them separated pieces that articulate with hinges.īeing a lego piece, the rotor can be removed from it's post, and use it to combine both blades into one long Darth Maul thingy. They can be held by any bot with 5mm hands, but don't really have a storage place in robot mode. The blades can be used as short swords or big knives. The front of the torso is on a ball joint and it flips inside out to hide the rotor in the hollow torso, and reveal the robot chest, without partsforming. Simply unfold the legs for transformation (they cannot be moved without moving the arms first). The legs simply fold under the body, with the tip of the toes ending up under the cockpit. The rotor is a free rotating lego piece and the blades attach to it. The arms now remain to the sides of the helicopter, connected to the legs with a little post. The parts I added meant the transformation had to change too. I removed the torso part, leaving the hinge that connects to the cockpit, and made a new torso that was hollow. This could have been a simple recolor, but as I would already have to give it new blades, I decided to go further and make it so the cockpit ended up on the back, and the rotor could hide inside the chest. This one was missing the helicopter blades and accesories.
